1. Introduction
Welcome to TravelMaxx Luxury Travel. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Our Role as an Agent
TravelMaxx Luxury Travel acts as an Appointed Agent for Brightsun Travel (UK) Limited (ATOL 3853). We arrange travel services on behalf of airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel providers. Your contract for these services is directly with the principal provider.
As an agent, we accept no liability for:
- The acts or omissions of the principal provider
- The quality or performance of the travel services
- Any loss, damage, or injury arising from the travel services
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we have received the required deposit or full payment and issued a booking confirmation invoice.
3.2 Deposits
For most bookings, a deposit of £50 per person is required to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable except in cases where we fail to confirm your booking.
3.3 Final Payment
Final payment is due no later than 10 weeks before departure unless otherwise stated. Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your booking with loss of deposit.
3.4 Payment Methods
We accept: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit cards, Bank Transfer (BACS/CHAPS), and Cash (in-person only).
4. Prices and Taxes
All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Please note:
- Prices are subject to change until full payment is received
- Airline taxes, fuel surcharges, and government fees may change after booking
- You may be required to pay any increases in taxes or fees
5. Changes and Cancellations by You
5.1 Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be in writing to info@travelmaxxltd.co.uk. Cancellation fees apply as follows:
6. Passport, Visas and Health Requirements
You are solely responsible for ensuring:
- Passport: Valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date
- Visas: Obtained before travel for all destinations and transit countries
- Health: Meet all health requirements (vaccinations, COVID-19 tests)
- Insurance: Have appropriate travel insurance
7. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is MANDATORY for all bookings. You must have comprehensive coverage including medical expenses (£2M+), emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, baggage loss, flight delays, and COVID-19 coverage.
8. Baggage Allowance
Baggage allowances vary significantly by airline and fare type. It is your responsibility to check your baggage allowance before travel. Excess baggage fees are payable directly to the airline at check-in.
9. Flight Schedules and Delays
Flight schedules are subject to change by airlines. For compensation claims under UK/EU Regulation 261/2004, you must contact the airline directly. We can assist for a £25 administrative fee.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We act only as an agent and are not liable for acts or omissions of travel providers
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to us for that booking
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- We are not liable for force majeure events (natural disasters, war, pandemic, strikes, weather)
11. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, government orders, pandemics, or utility failures.
12. Complaints Procedure
- Immediate issues: Call us at 020 8081 4323 while still on your trip
- Written complaint: Email info@travelmaxxltd.co.uk within 28 days of return
- Response: Acknowledged within 5 days, full response within 28 days
- Escalation: CAA - www.caa.co.uk
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
